The Mighty U13s finally got to play on home soil, protecting an unbeaten start to the season against a well-trained and organised Leamington side. Being their first home game the U13s had the honor of using the 1st Team dressing room which got them up for the game and eager to get stuck in.

From the 1st whistle it was clear that Leamington had never played against such a physical side, and they struggled with the U13s direct running and ruthless scrummaging and tackling. Tries soon started to come with Henry, Zac and Declan scoring quickly! Leamington tried to respond, using substitutes and tactical kicking to try pin Broadstreet back into their own half. The Mighty U13s quickly adjusted to this and the forwards through Donnie, Ethan, Dan & Nails gave some strong carries through the middle of the park. It wasn't long before the tries started to flow again with Morgan, Dan, Henry & Zac scoring again. Again Leamington tried to adjust putting width to their game which Broadstreet loved as their wingers got into the action with Alex scoring and then new signing Jacob getting his first two tries. Towards the end of the game Leamington finally got reward for their efforts and scored twice, both breakaway efforts as Broadstreet were threatening the try line again. This only motivated Broadstreet further with some great direct running from Ben and Henry gave space for more scores as Dan and Morgan crossed the line again, Zac completed his hattrick and Ethan finished of the try scoring.

Leamington gave us a great test with some great rugby but the Broadstreet U13s were two strong. Broadstreet 75 - Leamington 10.
